Dealing with my mom's notebook

Dealing with my mom's Acer Travelmate 290E (bought c.a 2000-2001) is never easy. Massively infected with malwares, I re-formatted it. My stupidest move is I didn't have it's drivers, so I need to dig it from acer's site after re-formatting, which is not really hard to find BUT quite frustrating to download to needed files due to lack of bandwith at Makassar's net-cafe.

And it's not just that. There are many drivers provided at acer's site but I only desperatedly need the graphic driver. After an hour of downloading the driver, it said something about server error bla....bla...bla which means I CAN'T use the driver. F**K!!! Without that driver, I can't see whatever Windows Media Player 10 showing in that notebook.

Luckily the I've got the audio driver before, so after I get this video driver (hopefully) there won't be any problems anymore. *deep sigh*
